Château Mouton Rothschild wine’s persona is “Wine as an artistic expression” through centuries of crafting, development of the land, improvement of the grapes and the entire process of making the wine. There oenologists (Wine Scientists) and artisans have created wine as a form of Art itself.
The process of creating living art in the Château Mouton Rothschild way is in every process of the wine from the vineyard itself and the working environment that inspire, the art that is the wine and even the labels that have a complete story of their very own.
Each year the Château Mouton Rothschild produce a fresh new exciting label that in essence is work of art to represent the inspiration and passion of that embodies the wine of that particular vintage.
Indeed some of most celebrated artists of their day and from all over the world have contributed to the label portraits including Miró, Chagall, Braque, Picasso, Tàpies, Francis Bacon, Dali, Balthus, Jeff Koons and even Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales.
